Saint Patrick's day and field trip to broad stage in Santa Monica

The class had a great time going to the Broad Stage in Santa Monica. We learned about elements in music such as pitch, patterns, and rhythm. We unfortunately could not take pictures of the performance, but we had a great time going and enjoyed popsicles afterwards.

During St. Patrick's Day we learned about St. Patrick and what it means to be a saint. We also talked about how he used the shamrock to teach the Holy Trinity. The class painted and labeled shamrocks which symbolized the holy Trinity.

Celebrating the 100th day and Valentine's Day!

The class celebrated the 100th day of school!  We made 10 groups of 10 using fruit loops to count to 100. Then we made fruit loop necklaces with the 100 fruit Loops.

For Valentine's Day we grafted candy hearts! Each student got a handful of candy hearts. Then they grafted the colors they got.
